Cons: Nada!!!
I am surprised he's an adjunct professor (*if the university makes a good faith offer to an adjunct professor of teaching during the following semester depending on enrollment, the adjunct generally cannot file for unemployment during the break). I thought the department chair would direct-hire him after 4 years!!! A hyper-intelligent professor with witty personality and an Ivy-League background! Cons: NONE
Professor Mai is an amazing professor. Tons of reading, but totally worth it!!!
He is hilarious and very thorough. This is the rarest type of professor-- he's super smart and down to earth. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. Definitely AWESOME professor!!!
Cons: His exams are difficult
If you do not go to class everyday and take notes, then you will do very bad.
Cons: sometimes some of the material gets lost int he jokes he makes
he is super funny, and makes you actually want to go to class
the course is pretty interesting too
Cons: he takes attendance, even in large lectures, so you must go to class, but also you need to go if you want to pass anyway
Cons: You really have to know your stuff for each exam and you have only just enough time to do it. No bullshitting can really go down.
